2010 annual blog post

It's time for my annual blog post.

Things have definitely slowed down motorsports wise since the baby. Baby? Oh yeah ... the baby just turned 1 and is not really a "baby" anymore.

Things have definitely slowed down, but in the last year, motorsports wise, I've:

• raced in 24Hrs of LeMons twice. winning the race once, and definitely not winning the other time
• drove in a handful of spec e30 races, learned that I'm slow and getting rusty from lack of practice
• backed my spec e30 into a tire wall at Laguna Seca test day (my own dumb fault)
• bought a new spec e30 race car, and in the same weekend ...
• backed the new race car into a tire wall at ThunderHill (probably my fault, but I had help)

I've got 3 E30 race cars sitting outside of my house right now, all requiring various repairs.

In the future, I plan to sell the red spec e30 once I get it cleaned up. I'll definitely get the new car repaired in time for the spec e30 race in August. It's also likely that my cohorts will convince me to do the December 24Hrs of LeMons race.
